Welcome

welcome to the

burbank hall
& campground

Beauty surrounds us at the Burbank Hall and Campground!

Join us in this special place uniquely located where the Red Deer and Blindman Rivers meet. Our campground is immersed in a spectacular river-side setting and sits on cliffs offering stunning views of both river valleys. You may see an eagle soar overhead or a fleet of pelicans plucking fish from the river. Imagine sitting by the fire, the sun is setting and your sitting in your seasonal campsite overlooking the river....  just taking it all in.

Our location is truly one of a kind and special in every way. Guests can enjoy exclusive vehicle access through our campground to both rivers where you will find a swimming area, a place to launch a kayak or canoe and perhaps a place to say "I do".

With nature as your backdrop, the opportunities to explore and create memories are truly endless.

"Rivers are the roadways of the forest, journey with us".

Local Area

Our campground is located just 5 minutes from Blackfalds but feels like it is in a remote and secluded forest, especially when you're down at the river. There are many paths along the river to hike. Along your way you may find a cool old train bridge that is a hidden gem and location to take pictures.

Blackfalds is a friendly and cute small town with BIG amenities (especially for kids). The small town is very geared towards families! The town of Blackfalds has great recreational centers: The Abbey Centre, a “cultural and recreational gem” has a water-park, splash park, water-slides an indoor 3 level play centre & so much more. There are a ton of unique outdoor playgrounds, including bike skills parks, a pirate themed playground, off-leash dog parks, a dinosaur themed climbing park, and skate parks to name a few. Blackfalds has many restaurants/pubs as well as fast food restaurants including: Boston Pizza, Piccolo’s Pizza & Pasta, Resolve Bar & Grill, Buster’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, A&W, McDonalds, Subway, Dairy Queen etc. Blackfalds Motor Inn, Tim Hortons and a few other hidden local gems. It is always expanding and growing with new places to check out with each visit.

Burbank Hall and Campground is also close to two of Alberta's most amazing lakes. Sylvan Lake is west of the campground and is a wonderful lakeside community. Lakeshore drive is full of beach goers and the public beach is always a popular destination for sun seekers. The town is SO cute with a true lakeshore "main street" with many places to shop and eat. Sylvan Lake is home to the "Big MOO" a popular ice cream shop.

We are also close to Gull Lake which is northwest of the campground. It is a popular boating destination and the town of Gull Lake and Bentley are nearby. The Wooden Shoe is located in Gull Lake and in the summer they have delicious ice cream by the scoop. There is also a mini-golf course nearby, a public beach at Aspen Lakes Provincial Park and so much more to explore.
